Ground Datum

An open, continuously refreshed record of the roads we share.

Ground Datum is a nonprofit project building a public inventory of roadside safety infrastructure — starting with guardrails — documented by ordinary people, reviewed by calibrated evaluators, and kept current as conditions change.

The goal is simple: safe roads, so this doesn't happen to someone else. We work with road agencies as partners, giving resource-starved maintenance offices visibility they've never had.
